"Not all heroes wear capes."
A Dad has gone viral after his genius baby life hack went viral.
It comes after a mother in the UK, Elisabeth Henson, shared two images of her partner, Jamie Pollard, enjoying a slice of cake on the couch.
However it's what he's using to support his cheesecake is the thing that's been attracting attention.
Elisabeth's caption read: "Imagine spending £15 (AUD$27) on a clear blue test to find out you’re pregnant, spending nine months growing your beautiful baby, enduring morning sickness, sciatica and stretch marks, giving birth and having him absolutely destroy everything on the way out, tearing, being injected, being sewn up, having your placenta pulled out with tongs with no pain relief or numbing and getting up every single night with him since he was born...
"For him to be used as a f**king Cheesecake Table that you can buy from B&M for £3.50 (€4.00)."
After posting the images on Facebook, Elisabeth was stunned with the traction it got having since been shared 40,000 times.
And in true internet fashion, the comments were every bit as good as the post itself.
"Not all heroes wear capes," wrote one person, while another laughed at how babies do "have a use" after all.
One hailed the images as "the funniest thing" they've ever seen, blessing Jamie for "taking daddy and son time seriously".
"I'm so sorry I'm crying with laughter," commented another, "all that you go through just to see that, you're blessed."
