A post mortem will be carried out later on the body of a man discovered in a burned out car in Dublin. The grim discovery was made in Mount Andrew Court in Lucan ata round 8pm, when the fire brigade was called out to extinguish the fire.
The body remains at the scene and it's thought the victim may have been shot before the car was set on fire.
Chief reporter with The Herald, Conor Feehan, is following the story and said: "Obviously the first call was to the fire brigade to extinguish the flames but it was when emergency services were putting out the fire that the body of a man was discovered in the passenger seat"
