A Longford woman has died in a stabbing in New York.
41 year old Sarah McNally, whose identity was confirmed by the NYPD, hailed from Longford Town but had been living in New York for roughly 10 years.
She was working at 'The Ceili House' in Queens on Saturday evening, when she was attacked by a man.
He also stabbed and seriously injured himself.
Ms. McNally was taken to Elmhurst Hospital after being stabbed in the neck - but was later pronounced dead.
The man was also take to hospital, and he's currently in a critical condition.
