A solid enough debut for our Wonderkid
It was under less than ideal circumstances for Irish 17-year-old Troy Parrot to make his Tottenham Hotspur debut last night, as his side put in an underwhelming performance, going out of the Carabao Cup to League Two side Colchester United.

The youngster made his debut last night as an out-of-form Spurs traveled to Colchester for their Carabao Cup clash.
Parrott had a shot deflected across the face of the goal in the opening minutes and showed good movement to create a couple of half chances either side of the break.
The Dubliner made way for Christian Eriksen who ended up missing a penalty as Spurs pooped the bed and went out 4-3 on penalties to the delight of an ecstatic Colchester United crowd.

No doubt Troy will be disappointed with his team's performance but he can be proud of what was a solid debut for himself, a lad who still isn't old enough to buy a pint.
