Serena Williams is among a number of tennis's top stars who are backing Naomi Osaka over her decision to withdraw from the French Open.
The 23 year old world number 2 released a statement last night confirming she would pull out of the tournament.

Osaka had been involved in a standoff with organisers over her failure to take part in required press conferences.
She was fined €10,000 earlier this week for failing to attend a press conference.
She says she will now take time away from the game in order to deal with bouts of depression she has experienced in recent years.
