Jim Gavin's stepping down as manager of the Dublin Senior football team.
He told the players, management team and the officers of the Dublin County Board this morning.
Mr Gavin managed the boys in blue for their historic five all Irelands in a row.
County Board Chairman Seán Shanley says "forever grateful to Jim Gavin for his dedication, commitment and contribution" as a player and then as manager.
