The Africa Cup of Nations was plunged into tragedy last night.
At least six people were reported dead following a crush to enter the meeting of hosts Cameroon and Comoros.
One child is among the dead, according to a report by the AFP news agency.
Stampede started when late crowds trying to enter into Olembe were stopped by the military on duty. Some tried to force their way in while others were trying to get out and a stampede ensued. #AFCON2021

Many more were seriously injured as thousands of fans rushed gates at Yaounde's Olembe Stadium.
The stadium's capacity had been restricted for the match with Comoros in a last-sixteen knockout game.
Cameroon won the game 2 - 1, and will play Gambia in the quarter-finals.
