Galway City Council has closed the Blackrock Diving Tower in Salthill over social distancing concerns.
The council took the decision earlier today after large crowds gathered.
The iconic landmark had been closed in April during the lockdown and re-opened briefly in May before being closed again.
In June, the council enforced a one-way system in a bid to ensure people were maintaining a physical distance.
However, this plan doesn't seem to have worked and the tower is now closed until further notice.
The tower had been busy throughout the weekend due to the good weather.
