A new survey from Expressway/Bus Eireann has found 21 percent of young adults can’t drive.
40 percent of those surveyed, aged between 19 and 23, believe public transport is their cheapest option.

14 percent are climate conscious and take buses or trains to reduce their carbon footprint.
Almost half of the people surveyed use public transport to get to university or college, with 60% doing so on a daily or weekly basis.
The young adults surveyed live in areas outside of Dublin.
