Lick Events are bringing the first “strictly no men allowed” night to the capital this summer. DublinLive report that Lick have been hosting gals-only nights for clubs in the UK for the past few years.
One organiser said she first started the event because she had a bad experience with men grabbing her or being inappropriate on a night out and she just “got sick of it”.
The night aims to provide a safe space for women, transgender women and non-binary people to drink, dance and have the craic.
They recently announced a list of cities they're visiting on a TikTok. The list included Dublin as well as a host of other UK locations including Cardiff, Glasgow and Manchester.
