We've had quite the week weather-wise.
Blue skies and beautiful sunsets have dominated our skies over the past while. However, it is going to take a turn later this week.
Met Éireann predicts some "wintry" showers in parts of the country tomorrow night. They'll mainly be confined to the east but it'll be mainly cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle during the day.
Here's the full forecast for the rest of the week:
Wednesday
There'll be mist and fog in the morning but that will clear. There'll be some sunshine but it will be mostly cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle. Afternoon temperatures will hit a max of 8 degrees. It'll be largely clear and dry on Wednesday night but there'll be some showers in eastern parts, possibly turning wintry at times. Temperatures are expected to dip to as low as -3 degrees.
Thursday
Frost will clear in the morning to leave a day with good sunshine interspaced with well scattered light showers. Cooler throughout the country with highs of 9 degrees. It'll stay largely dry and clear on Thursday night but there will be some showers near coasts. Another cold night with lows of -3 degrees.
Friday
A largely dry and bright start to the day but cloud will push in from the north along with a few light showers. Highs of 9 degrees. It'll stay dry overnight with a mix of cloud and clear spells and lows of -2 degrees.
Weekend
Early indications show that there'll be sunny spells and showers on Saturday with highs of 10 degrees. There's still some uncertainty for Sunday with the possibility of widespread rain.
