Have you any plans for the long weekend?
We're counting down the days until the Easter bank holiday. But what's the weather going to be like?
Unfortunately, it's not going to be a guaranteed scorcher. Instead, Met Éireann predict a real mixed bag with cloud, rain, hail and some sunny spells all on the cards.
Here's the full weather forecast for the next few days:
Thursday
It'll be cloudy on Thursday with outbreaks of rain and drizzle in parts. However, many eastern parts will stay fairly dry. Highs of 15 or 16 degrees and highest in north Leinster.
Friday
Friday will bring a good deal of cloud with some scattered outbreaks of mostly light rain but a lot of dry weather overall. Some bright or sunny intervals will develop in parts too. It'll be mild with highs of 17 degrees with light or moderate breezes.
Saturday
Saturday will bring a lot of cloud with some outbreaks of rain which could be persistent near the west coast. Highs of 16 degrees with moderate or fresh southerly breezes.
Sunday
Easter Sunday will bring some dry periods initially but rain will never be too far off the west coast and is likely to spread eastwards across the country later. Becoming breezy too with top temperatures of 16 degrees with moderate breezes.
Monday
It'll turn much colder and fresher for Monday with sunny spells and showers, some heavy and of hail. Highs of 12 degrees with fresh or strong and blustery breezes. Turning chilly on Monday night with clear spells and some scattered showers and lows of 0 degrees with some grass frost possible.
