Inter-county travel is set to return in June alongside the opening of the hospitality sector.

Minister Eamon Ryan has also suggested the €9 meal will be scrapped whenever pubs are allowed to open their doors.

At a cabinet sub-committee meeting tonight, Ministers will discuss the possibility of opening outdoor hospitality as early as the end of May.

However, other sources believe it will be June before the likes of pubs open.
