There's a status yellow fog warning in place for all counties in Munster, Connacht and Leinster, until 6am tomorrow.
Met Eireann is warning that dense areas of fog are likely this evening and tonight.
Road users are being warned to be extra cautious due to poor visibility.
Motorists are advised to reduce their speed, keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front and use their fog lights in the affected areas but don’t forget to turn them off afterwards.
