Netflix has released a trailer for their highly anticipated documentary series about the death of Sophie Toscan du Plantier.
"Sophie: A Murder in West Cork" looks at one of Ireland’s most famous murders and speaks to Sophie’s families and local residents, 25 years since the French woman was killed.
Sophie was at her holiday home in the county in December of 1996. She was found beaten to death two days before Christmas.
The case has generated enormous public interest through the years.
The documentary was produced by Oscar winner Simon Chinn and will be available to stream at the end of the month.
