Mischief will reign supreme at Púca Halloween Festival 2019.
An origin story is a backstory revealing how something came to be a legend...
And there is perhaps no greater legend in the world than that of Halloween.
But the origins of the day dedicated to everything mischievous lays far, far beyond tricks, treats and costumes...
In ancient times, the spirits of Samhain marked this time of year and the fading of the light, by turning the darkness into their playground.
It was a night when the veil between the two worlds was at its thinnest and the spirits would join the living for a night of devilment.
And we think it’s time we went back to the roots of the true Halloween...
So, this is an invitation for anyone who wants to come alive in the dark at the Púca Festival 2019.

Who is Púca?
Púca is a shape shifting spirit that changes the fortunes of all those who cross her path... And the festival named in her honour is no different.
It's a festival of fire and feasts, of music and mischief.
Drawing inspiration from the ancient Celtic traditions of Samhain, Púca showcases how Halloween’s origins lay within Ireland.
Ireland is the home of Halloween and over three massive nights the Púca Festival is going to show people why....
From October 31st until November 2nd in Trim, Drogheda and Athboy you're invited to welcome in the Celtic new year, the same way our ancestors did in ancient times.
We're certainly going to be there, and if you want to come alive in the dark at the Púca Festival 2019, you can awaken your spirit here.
