But it won't last forever.

The latest forecast from Met Éireann is in, and we're pretty content with what it's predictions.

The rest of today will be dry and sunny in most counties, however rain is expected in Co Donegal and other areas in the northwest (sorry lads).

But in general we can expect maximum temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees, with 17 degrees in parts of Munster.

Tomorrow will similar to today, with bright with sunny spells and some scattered showers, and temperatures between 13 and 17 degrees.

Wednesday will be decent too with some sunny spells and temperatures between 15 to 18 degrees. But some outbreaks of rain will develop in the west and rainy weather becoming more widespread overnight.

Thursday will be a bit of a downer with longer spells of rain with a rainbelt stalling over the country.

Friday though looks like it will be a drier day for most places, with patchy rain dying out and a few brighter spells developing in light to moderate northerly winds.

Overall we'll take that, one bad day out of five isn't bad at all, enjoy the sun while it lasts!
