The National Ploughing Championships haven't gone ahead as normal for two years.
Representatives of the National Ploughing Championships say they have had a very constructive meeting with Taoiseach Micheál Martin and Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue.
Organisers say the event is set for a huge comeback this year after a two year absence.
It is due to take place in Ratheniska, Co.
Laois on September 20th, 21st and 22nd.
National Ploughing Association Managing Director Anna Mc Hugh has said the Trade Exhibition Portal will open in March.
She has also said the association will work very closely with exhibitors to make sure they are up to speed on regulations as they unfold over the coming months.
