More restrictions will ease from Monday.

The Cabinet has signed off on the road map for ending restrictions by October 22nd.

From Monday 6th September, capacity at indoor and outdoor events will increase. Communions and confirmations will also be allowed to resume.

Where crowds are fully vaccinated, indoor crowds will be capped at 60% while outdoor crowds will be capped at 75%.

Employers will be able to bring staff back to the workplace from September 20th. That's also the date for when indoor activities for children will also resume.

Bingo halls and bowling alleys can reopen too on September 20th.

Meanwhile, public transport will be back at full capacity from tomorrow morning.

However, recommendations around mask wearing won't change.
