A new website should hit all markets by Autumn.
We ALL love Penneys - don't deny it, it's true.
Whether you get all your clothes there, just the odd thing here and there or it's your go-to for homeware, you just can't beat Penneys prices.
And something that we reckon everyone would love is if you could go on the website and get stuff delivered right to your door.
While it doesn't look like that's on the cards anytime soon, Penneys haven't exactly ruled out Click and Collect.
Reuters reports that a new Penneys website will be launched in the UK by the end of the month, and for the rest of the world by Autumn.
John Bason, finance director of Primark's owner, Associated British Foods (ABF.L), told Reuters that they're making "the digital move forward in a very big way".
He added that with the new website, there may be "new opportunities".
And the feature they would most likely adopt would be Click and Collect.
Hooray!!
So why are they open to CLick and Collect but not delivery?
Well, they reckon that what people love about Penneys is, of course, the products, but also the low prices.
So they say people would lose the benefit of budget with home delivery:
"You can’t get our value by delivery to home, it’s as simple as that," Bason said.
It's fair, we guess, but we reckon people probably would be willing to pay that little bit for delivery for Penneys.
