Ovie Chats To Aidan and Oonagh About His New Hit Single 'One More Time'

"Ireland Has The Most Attractive Girls In the World!"

iRadio in the Morning with Aidan and Oonagh caught up with music artist Ovie for a lively chat. Ovie's hot new track 'One More Time' is one of iRadio's 'I Love Irish' tracks to feature this month and it's proving a favourite with music fans for its catchy beats and melody which serve as a base to Ovie's smooth vocals. Releasing his debut single ‘Dublin Girl’ to acclaim at the end of 2019, it’s taken twelve months for follow up ‘One More Time’ to make an appearance and it was certainly worth the wait.

Ovie also directed the music video (which you can watch below) and presenter Oonagh O'Carroll asked Ovie where he managed to find so many lovely girls to take part in the video shoot! They went on to chat about how well Ireland has embraced the R&B scene a suggestion on why Donegal Girls deserve a look in for Ovie to write a song about.

 "ONE MORE TIME -  IS MORE ABOUT ME"

Ovie has explained that his first single 'Dublin Girls' was "representative of me as a person, maybe 60% me, but 'One More Time' is 90% me. It was important for me to be true to myself. I'm a big social introvert so because of that I'm not going to be writing from a lot of personal experiences, they'd be pretty boring songs. I'd either get ideas from watching movies or mostly listening to my friends complaining about their lives. Ever since I've switched to being me all I need to do is fix on a scenario and the rest of it plays out. 'One More Time' is about being in a good position in life, there are girls everywhere, but you're missing that one person. All I had to do was come up with the concept and the rest wrote itself, it's like a diary almost. I've found that I'm not as unrelatable as I thought I was. I have stories to tell that are genuinely honest”.
