Two thirds of people trying online dating say they believe it's possible to fall in love with some they have never met.

37% of people  in Ireland have been actively trying to meet someone new during the pandemic, according to a survey by dating site Bumble.

14% of people have been on a socially distanced date.

Another survey by Bumble last summer looked at how dating habits had changed due to Covid.

In that study, over half of single people looking to date during the pandemic said they now want to do so locally.

Meanwhile, 45% of people say they would be reluctant to go on a date if it was too far away from them.
