Cabinet Ministers are expected to discuss the Mica redress scheme ahead of a large protest planned for outside the Dáil later.
TDs will discuss a motion this evening calling for the redress scheme for the defective house blocks to be extended from a maximum of 90 to 100 per cent of the cost.
There's no formal memo on the issue on the cabinet agenda, but it'll likely be discussed by Ministers as the government formulates a response.
