Met Éireann has dropped its latest forecast, and things are looking good!
The beach should be a a legitimate option over the weekend and perhaps even a cheeky barbecue or two...
While parts of the country are expected to top 23 degrees today as the mini-heatwave continues.

Here's the day by day breakdown from the national forecaster:
Thursday (today): It's set to be another dry day with temperatures ranging from 16 to 19 degrees over Connacht and Ulster, but it's going to be hotter elsewhere with temperatures of 20 to 23 degrees expected.
Friday: Cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain over Connacht and Ulster where temperatures will be between 16 to 18 degrees.
But elsewhere, it's set set to be mostly dry with sunny spells at first, but cloud will increase later in the day. The mercury is expected to hit between 19 and 22 degrees in the rest of the country.
Saturday: After a cloudy start to the day, it's expected to become mostly dry with sunny spells developing later, especially in the north and east.
Top temperatures of 16 to 22 degrees are expected, perfect barbecue weather.
Sunday: This is probably the worst day of the bunch with cloudy conditions and outbreaks of rain and drizzle on the horizon. However, some dry periods will arrive too.
Top temperatures will range from 16 in the north to 21 degrees near the south coast.
Monday: At this stage Monday is likely to stay dull or cloudy with some outbreaks of rain. But it will still be warm and humid with top temperatures in the high teens to low twenties in a moderate westerly breeze.
