One of TV's best known singing competitions is gaining an Irish twist this year.
A young Mayo woman has made it through to the blind auditions stage of The Voice UK and now has the chance to sing for Tom Jones, Will.i.am, Anne-Marie and Olly Murs.
Chantelle Padden has been on the music scene for a few years now, supporting acts like country music idol Nathan Carter.
The 24-year-old hails from Binghamstown near Belmullet and is one of just 100 people to make it the blind auditions, out of 100,000 entrants.
