Its believed up to 20 people were involved
A teenager was assaulted by a group of young people on a Luas yesterday evening.
Gardaí say that the incident happened shortly after half five at the Parnell Street stop.
Dublin Traffic: Dawson Street is currently closed due to an incident on the Luas tracks. Luas services are currently interrupted between St Stephen's Green and O'Connell Street Upper.

A number of Garda units attended the scene.
In now-deleted Tweets quoted in The Mirror, an eye-witness claimed;
"Several members of the gang have knives and are chasing people on the street. This is terrifying. Where are the police !!?"
He went on to describe the chaos that unfolded;
"There was a lot of screaming and shouting, fighting, pushing, that kind of thing.
The driver called the police and he told them (the gang) he had done that, he announced it over the loudspeaker"
