New research has looked into the best and worst counties to work from home from.
The study by Virgin Media looked into different factors like the cost of rent, broadband speeds, crime rates, air quality and hours of sunlight. It also took into account things like the availability of schools and the number of nearby restaurants.
Kerry came out on top of the list, followed by Clare and Laois in second and third respectively. Counties Roscommon and Donegal rounded off the top five.
The top ten counties to work from home are as follows:
- Kerry
- Clare
- Laois
- Roscommon
- Donegal
- Tipperary
- Westmeath
- Leitrim
- Carlow
- Wexford
On the opposite end of the scale, counties Dublin, Galway and Cork all placed in the bottom five.
