The homeless man was arrested in Dublin yesterday.
A man remains in custody this morning as part of an investigation into the murder of Keane Mulready Woods.
The 17 year-old was was murdered and dismembered at a house in Drogheda as part of the feud involving two gangs in the Co Louth town.
The suspect, a man in his late 20s, was arrested in the Dublin area yesterday morning and is being held at a Louth Garda Station.
He's thought to have played a “peripheral role” in the gruesome murder.
He can be questioned for up to 7 days.
In total 13 people have now been arrested as part of the murder inquiry with three men charged before the courts.
