On this day thirty years ago, the 25th of June 1990, one of the greatest moments in Irish sporting history took place.
Ireland faced off against Romania in the Italia 90 match with a lot at stake - a place in the World Cup quarter-finals! The match went into extra time and ended up in penalties. After Packie Bonner's save, David O'Leary scored to make it a magic day for Ireland at Italia 90.
