Famous Celebs With Irish Roots
So today's Oonaghversity is inspired by the recent visit of Emily Blunt to Crossmolina where she was spotted having the craic in a local establishment in the town.
It got Oonagh wondering if she has any Irish roots. It turns out she doesn't but here are some famous celebs who DO have Irish roots.

So believe it or not, Mischa Barton has strong Roscommon connections. Her mum hails from Roscommon and as a kid they would spend summers over at her uncle's farm footing turf!
Mariah's a pure Langer!
Mariah Carey is part Irish (she'd have to be with that surname!). It turns out that her connection to Ireland is through her mother's side of the family, Patricia Hickey, whose ancestors hailed from Co. Cork.
You talking to me Bobby?
Perhaps the most surprising person on this list is Robert De Niro. Famous for his incredible take on the Italian-American mobster Bobby is actually more Irish than Italian despite his surname and spend time in the past visiting his relatives in the Midlands.
