The Guards: Inside the K, 9pm, Virgin Media One
Image via iftn.ieTonight is the third instalment of the much-talked-about documentary into the life of Gardaí in one of Ireland's busiest areas - the K district. This episode focuses on what mental health issues they deal with on a weekly basis.
Big Life Fix, 9:35pm, RTÉ One
Image via RTE.ieThis is a new series following Irish inventors who create life-changing solutions for people. Tonight's episode focuses on designer James Carrigan and electronics engineer Chiara Cavarra. Together, they work with a farmer who tragically lost both of his legs in a farming accident. Elsewhere, engineer Shane Phelan meets 3 year-old Alana Reid Sochan in Cork who has butterfly syndrome. A guaranteed feel-good watch.
The Wolverine, 9pm, Film Four
The pick of tonight's films is on Film Four later. Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine in this 2013 sequel to the member of the X-Men's first solo film. Jackman's character travels to Japan where he's offered the chance to give up his immortality for a normal life. It has a pretty decent rating of 71% on Rotten Tomatoes so perfect if you're feeling like a gripping action film tonight.
PS I Love You, 9pm, Comedy Central
On the other side of the coin, there's a classic rom-com over on Comedy Central. Based on the infamous book by Cecelia Ahern, the film follows recently widowed Holly whose late husband, Gerry has left her a series of letters. Through his letters, she embarks on a new adventure, designed to help her to move on and get on with life without him. It stars Hilary Swank, Gerard Butler and Lisa Kudrow but be warned - Gerard Butler's attempt at an Irish accent will give you the heebie jeebies.
