It'll be available to stream at the end of June.
Netflix will start streaming a documentary on the murder of Sophie Toscan du Plantier from 30th June.
Sophie: A Murder in West Cork will examine the murder of the French woman, which became one of Ireland's most well-known crimes.
TV documentary producer, Sophie Toscan du Plantier, was killed in West Cork in 1996.
She was at her holiday home in the area in December 1996 and was found beaten to death two days before Christmas. The crime shocked the nation and became one of the biggest investigations the country had seen.
The series features contributions from Sophie’s family, along with local residents and media. It was directed by BAFTA nominee John Dower and was filmed in multiple locations, including France and West Cork.
Chinn and Lavery, the executive producers, said that gaining the trust of Sophie's family gave them their "purpose".
They said:
"Justice has eluded them for a quarter of a century since Sophie’s death and their main aim in cooperating with us to make this series is to do justice to her memory. We hope we have achieved that, for them."
Sophie: A Murder in West Cork will launch on Netflix on 30th June.
