A tragic accident.
A 15-year-old girl died after sustaining serious injuries while horse riding yesterday afternoon.
The tragic accident happened during a training session at an equestrian centre Rathcoole, Co Dublin.
At around 2pm yesterday, emergency services were called to the centre in Rathcoole, after a 15 year old girl received serious injuries.
The teenager was brought to Crumlin's Children Hospital where she later passed away.
The Health and Safety Authority will carry out an examination today, into the circumstances surrounding the death.
Gardaí say investigations are ongoing and a file is being prepared for the Coroners Court
