It was a quieter Halloween than usual in the capital
One person was injured by a firework in Dublin last night as emergency services dealt with Halloween callouts.
Dublin Fire Brigade says there were 186 fire calls, 133 of which were bonfire related.
The majority of our #Halloween fire calls have now been dealt with. Earlier firefighters extinguished a car that had been driven onto a bonfire in Liffey Valley. #SafeAtSamhain #halloween2021 pic.twitter.com/PUmPZOPJxd

In Clondalkin gas cylinders were found in a bonfire.
Firefighters in Killiney attended a blaze where petrol was being thrown on top.
Crews also had to put out a car after it was driven onto a bonfire in Liffey Valley.
It's thought last night's wet weather helped make it a quieter October 31st than usual.
