How much do people love gin? Well, Enough to build an entire village for the stuff... which means the answer is quite a lot.
In case you weren't aware, this Saturday is World Gin Day, which is like a mixture of Christmas and a birthday for gin lovers around the globe.
And to mark this most welcome of days, the famous Quays Bar in Galway City are turning their upstairs section into a gin village!
In what will be a GIN-uinely fantastic evening, the village will be accepting visitors from 5pm – 7pm on June 8th.
Once inside G&T lovers can enjoy a host of Irish and international gin and tonic's as well as complimentary samples of new gin brands, along with old favourites.
They'll even get to meet with the makers and learn all about their favourite brands.
