The golden age of gin is upon us and it seems only right that we celebrate accordingly!
Should we throw a party? No, wouldn't cut it. A soirée? Getting closer, but still not quite on the money...
How a bout an entire festival solely dedicated to our love of gin? Yep, that's the one.
And luckily for us the bars and restaurants of the Latin Quarter in Galway are ten steps ahead, and have already organised such a celebration to mark #WorldGinDay on June 8th.
From Thursday the 6th of June until Sunday the 9th, Galway will play host to 'Gin Fest 2019' four-days of blissful gin-joyment featuring:
- Master classes and tastings.
- Gin specials and promotions.
- Gin giveaways.
- Gin cruises.
- Gin afternoon tea.
- Gin trails.
- Food and gin pairings.
- Gin cocktails & competitions.
- Gin forages.
- New gin launches and gin experientials!

While we obviously think Irish gin is the best gin, it's still good to expand your tasting repertoire! And Gin Fest will be featuring the best gins from home and abroad, another tick.
And if you aren't already hooked in, many of the events will be totally free to attend! Gin Fest...just ticking boxes for fun.
This is the ideal chance to explore all the gems of Galways famous Latin Quarter, which is the beating heart of one of the most vibrant city's in Ireland.
