A free pint's a free pint.
With the bank holiday weekend before Halloween all but upon us, Smithwicks have announced an extremely sound event happening at pubs all over Ireland.
To celebrate the extended break the company is offering a free pint of their Red Ale from Thursday the 24th to Sunday the 27th of October between 6 - 8pm.
And all you have to do to get your hands on one is sport a pair of red socks, that's it.
The offer is valid across nine counties, however pubs in Dublin 2 are finishing up the promotion on Saturday.
