It'll be "Summer to Winter for some" but the May Bank Holiday looks promising.
According to a Scottish meteorologist Ireland and the UK are set to see an "extreme contrast" in weather towards the end of April.
Last weeks weather may have been a once off as satellite images show a severe change from mild and warmer weather to winter cold.
London based meteorologist, Scott Duncan posted on his X account that April will break records for the cold that's about to sweep across the country.
He wrote: "April 2024 will go down as one of the most incredible flips on record in Europe. Summer to winter for some.
"The warmth broke an enormous number of April records and the cold is now beating some late April records."
Extreme contrast.

Met Eireann have released their forecasts for the upcoming weekend which predicts a very unsettled Saturday and Sunday.
They said there'll be plenty of cloud and limited sunny spells. Outbreaks of rain are also likely especially across southern counties.
It's looking like our much needed sunny spell was a one weekend deal with highs of just 8 to 12 degrees expected this coming Saturday.
It's not all bad news thought. Carlow Weather's Alan O'Reilly said that thankfully, sun will return for the May Bank Holiday.
If you want some hope in the longer term, the GFS model is showing a chance of high pressure returning for May Bank Holiday. Very far away so could easily change but good to see a chance for now anyway? pic.twitter.com/4Uzmpv1vaR
