There's still hope!
Sickened you missed out on tickets to the biggest festival of the year? Well there's still hope, if you're willing to do your bit for charity.
Organisers of the festival have gifted Temple Street Children's Hospital in Dublin 100 tickets for the sold-out festival.
And people can get their hands on them by donating or pledging to raise 500 euro for the hospital.
Since the initiative began four years ago, more than 200 thousand euro has been raised for the hospital.
Commenting on the fundraiser, Angi McNulty, Special Events Manager at Temple Street Foundation, said: "We are thrilled that Electric Picnic has decided to partner with our special hospital once again this year.
"The funds raised over the past four years have already made a huge difference.
"Sincere thanks to Melvin Benn, all the team at Festival Republic and everyone involved in Electric Picnic for continuing to support our hospital. They have been amazing supporters of Temple Street for many years and very much part of our circle of care community, raising vital funds for our little patients."
If you really want to go to Electric Picnic, raise funds for a great cause and if this sounds of interest, send an email to [email protected] for more details.
