Easter Sunday is this weekend but before you go cracking open copious amounts of Easter eggs to celebrate, Health experts are sending a clear warning: stop giving kids so many Easter eggs.

One chocolate egg contains 23 teaspoons of sugar, almost four times a child's recommended daily intake.
Alternative gifts to Easter eggs
Safefood Ireland's chief nutritionist Joana da Silva told the Daily Mail that parents should tell relatives to buy other gifts instead of chocolate. A report last week found that Irish shoppers had already forked out 15 million euro on Easter Eggs.
