Anyone travelling to Dublin Airport should expect delays.
Passengers at Dublin Airport say they are missing flights due to long queues.
Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) has apologised for the delays, which it says have been caused by a 'log jam' in getting new staff in.
They added that they're working hard to "ramp up operations" at the airport, including hiring and training staff.
Pictures and videos of scenes from Dublin Airport went viral yesterday with many claiming they had missed flights because of the issue:
#DublinAirport Despite waiting for hours, we could not catch our plane. I condemn the Dublin airport officials who made us experience this disgrace. pic.twitter.com/TpqV6QtuYC

absolute chaos at Dublin Airport - total disgrace - no chance of getting our flight - just giving up and going home - who is responsible? - who is accountable? pic.twitter.com/9K8haRvjwW

DAA said anyone travelling from Dublin Airport in the coming days and weeks should expect long delays. It said it empathises with passengers who ended up missing flights because of the delays.
