Brollys out!
Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow rainfall warning for Donegal tonight.
There'll be heavy rain in the county this evening and early tonight with some spot flooding in places. The warning is in place from 8pm tonight until 2am tomorrow morning.
Elsewhere, the national forecaster has also issued a yellow rainfall warning for counties Wexford, Cork, Kerry and Waterford from 2pm tomorrow. That one will last until 5am on Sunday, with spot flooding likely in areas near the coast.
Here's the full weather forecast for the weekend:
Saturday
Saturday will be wet.
Heavy rain is expected over Leinster and Munster with another risk of spot flooding.
Met Éireann says there is a “good possibility” those conditions will also affect Ulster and Connacht throughout the course of the day.
Sunday
Sunday though is expected to be a “bright, breezy day with sunny spells and scattered showers”, with temperatures hitting highs of 17 degrees. Not too bad.
Next week
As for next week, after more rain on Monday, both Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be mainly dry and sunny, with gentle breezes and temperatures reaching highs of 15-17 degrees before more unsettled conditions return heading into next weekend.
