Eight Raids in 2019 alone.
The PSNI are appealing for information and witnesses after another ATM was stolen in Dungiven Co.Derry on Sunday. This incident brings the number of ATM raids in Northern Ireland in 2019 to eight.
A Komatsu digger was stolen from a construction site approximately half a mile from the petrol station and was used to rip the ATM from the wall of the garage leaving substantial damage to the building.
CCTV has been released of the raid to UTV:
Thieves have been caught on CCTV using a digger to rip an ATM out of the wall of a filling station near Dungiven and load it into a van before making off. It's the eighth cash machine to be stolen in Northern Ireland in just four months.
