Start making plans!
So summer 2019 wasn't all it was cracked up to be. We had plenty of showers and grey clouds and not a sniff of the glorious heatwave that graced us during the summer of 2018. Sigh...
However, the weather this weekend might give you a bit of a lift. Friday and Saturday are promised decent and mostly dry according to Met Eireann. Here's how the forecast is looking for the next couple of days:
Thursday
Thursday morning will be blustery and cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain. However that'll clear to give mainly dry weather in the west before midday which will extend countrywide in the afternoon. It'll brighten up with good sunny spells during the late afternoon and evening and highest temperatures of 18 degrees expected.
Friday
Friday will be a fine and dry day with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. There could be some spot of drizzle near the northwest cost but temperatures could reach highs of 18 degrees.
Saturday
Saturday will be a fine and dry day everywhere and most places will get good spells of warm sunshine.
Sunday
Sunday will be much the same but it will be cloudier with patchy drizzle in parts of Ulster and Connacht. However, most of the country will be dry with further warm sunshine. Get in!
