Two dead in separate crashes in Meath and Donegal

Separately Gardai are at the scene of another crash in Meath.

A man in his 80s has lost his life in a crash in County Donegal.

Two cars collided at Greenbank between Muff and Quigley's Point at around half 5 yesterday evening.

The man who died was the only person in his car.

The driver and passenger in the other car, both men in their 30s, were treated at the scene for their injuries.

Separately, a man in his 50s has died following a single vehicle crash in County Meath overnight.

It happened at around 1am, on the M3 in Dunshaughlin, between Junctions 5 and 6.

The road has been closed and diversions are in place.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
