Olivia Rodrigo, Gavin James & Noel Gallagher all announce 2022 gigs

It's a busy day for gig announcements.

We know that many musicians have been forced to cancel or reduce the capacity of concerts and gigs this Christmas because of new restrictions.

However, today brings some good news for concert-goers. Several big names have confirmed Irish concerts for 2022. Here's who we can look forward to seeing live:

Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo has announced that she will play a concerts in Cork and Dublin next summer.

The Drivers Licence singer will play Live at the Marquee on Wednesday 29th June. Then the following day, she'll take to Fairview Park in Dublin on June 30th.

Tickets for both concerts will go on sale at 9am this Friday via Ticketmaster.

Gavin James

Irish singing sensation Gavin James will play 12 concerts in Ireland during May and April 2022.

The gigs will take place in Cork, Wexford, Galway, Castlebar, Derry, Belfast, Sligo, Killarney, Mullingar and Limerick. The complete list of dates is available here, and some tickets will go on sale this Friday 10th December.

Noel Gallagher

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds have also announced their much anticipated Irish return with an outdoor concert at St Anne's Park in Raheny in Dublin, on Sunday 5th June.

He's got a very decent support act too. Also joining the stage that night will be Two Door Cinema Club and Confidence Man. Tickets are on sale Friday 10th December and start from €49.90.

Mary Black

Mary Black will play five concerts throughout Ireland in 2022.

The Women's Heart singer will kick off her tour in the INEC in Killarney followed by concerts in Waterford, Cork and Limerick.

Finally, she'll play at the 3Olympia Theatre on Friday 28th October. Tickets for this concert are priced at €36.50 and go on sale this Friday.
