How cool does this look?
A brand new cinema experience has opened in County Galway.
The luxury 10 screen spot in Baily Point is Ireland's first ever reclining cinema and opened its doors to the public earlier this month.
The €5 million development will create over 20 jobs in the area and once it's fully completed in late 2019, it'll cater for 850 people. There'll be a fully stocked bar on site and you'll also be able to get restaurant food delivered right to your seat. The dream!
The Omniplex on Upper Salthill Road has fully electric reclining seats in all screens and boasts premium Barco laser projection and 4K Dolby Atmos Auditoriums for the an immersive sound and viewing experience.
As well as that, the venue is kitted out to pay homage to the iconic Hollywood era with a luxury 1920s design and feel to it.
“Our new design combined with the latest in cinema technologyincluding laser projection & Dolby Atmos immersive sound, and the extreme comfort of ourleather reclining seats will really create a unique cinema experience” said Mark Anderson, Managing Director of Omniplex Cinemas.
