Castlebar in Mayo has been named as the best place in Ireland to work from home.
The town topped the list due to house prices being lower and access to high quality broadband and 5G mobile phone coverage.
The Mayo town was followed by Leixlip (Kildare), Navan (Meath), Galway City and Longford town.
Castlebar was also named as the best town for families to live due to having a range of amenities and green spaces available.
The study, by price comparison website Switcher.ie, found Longford town was the cheapest place to live with average prices of €162,899.
Skerries, in north county Dublin, was named as the safest place to live with the lowest rate of crime per 1,000 people in 2021.
Meanwhile, Gorey in Co Wexford, was found to be the best place to keep active and Shannon in Co Clare had the worst internet connectivity.
