A farmer in Co Meath has knitted these ear muffs for his calves

Aren't they just adorable?

A farmer in Co Meath has made adorable little ear muffs for his calves.

The dairy farmer who goes by the name 'Cans Moleman' on Twitter posted a picture of a calf sporting the pink knitted ear muffs on Twitter.

"So it turns out ear muffs for calves to stop them getting frostbite are a real thing..." he captioned.

The tweet has since got a massive reaction with over 30k retweets and more than 171k likes. The calf in the picture is located in Canada, according to Pretty52, where temperatures can regularly plummet to below zero.

People have been responding to him with pictures of their own animals in the cute earmuffs:
