Shoppers are hitting out at the store on social media.
Brown Thomas in Dublin has had to cancel the launch of the new Kanye West Adidas Yeezy Boost runners.
For health and safety concerns, it was unable to carry out the release as massive crowds appeared in front of the store this morning.
Brown Thomas has tweeted saying "we will be updating our social media channels with details of a raffle next week which all customer can participate in";
We wish to apologise to our customers for any inconvenience caused this morning but as the planned Yeezy launch was significantly oversubscribed, for Health and Safety concerns, we were unable to conduct the release. pic.twitter.com/P0T2hXLhmx

But shoppers are criticising the store for mismanaging of the event, leaving many customers disappointed and annoyed;
Referring to the H&S issues as 'unforeseen' is disingenuous @brownthomas. This was easily foreseeable and, thus, preventable.
This 'crowd-crazing' was deliberate on your part and could have been done safely. You unnecessarily put people at risk this morning. https://t.co/rilZV7BHRV
